Why doesn’t the device work when the dog barks?

Please first ensure to fit the product snugly, yet loose enough to allow one finger to fit between the strap and your pet’s neck. Some dogs have weak barking, in this case, you need to level up the sensitivity. The barking detection could also decrease because of the thick coat. In this case, please use longer prongs.

Why is the product triggered sometimes in a noisy environment though the dog isn’t barking?

Though we have optimized the barking detection to the best, some environment noises may have a similar frequency to barking, which may have a slight chance to activate the product. Please lower the sensitivity level.

Can I use the bark control device when the other dogs are playing around?

Dogs bark actively during play, which means they are having fun and getting excited. For the comfort and safety of your pet, we don’t recommend using this device in such situations. Use only to stop excessive barking in the right situations.

Is this device good for every dog?

The product is designed for healthy dogs over 6 months, weighing no less than 8 pounds. Please note, this product cannot be used on unhealthy or aggressive dogs. If you are unsure whether this product is appropriate for your pet, please consult your veterinarian or a certified dog handler.

Will this device stop the howling as well as barking?

Our bark control collar is designed to detect the barking. So, it will not detect and stop the howling.

Can I charge this product with any type of charger?

It is suggested to charge this product with charger 5V output voltage, because a charger with an output voltage of 9V or 12V may damage the product and battery. If the input voltage is too high, the product will stop charging automatically and the power indicator will turn red.

Will my dog stop barking completely?

The bark control collar effectively and humanely stops barking when it is worn. Please note, it should only be worn during unwanted barking periods.

Is the bark control collar safe and humane?

Yes, it is. The aim of Bark Control Collar is to get your dog's attention. It doesn’t have a shock unit, and it works by the combination of sound and vibration. Please note that the initial strong vibration may startle your dog.
